Poetry in the Story of Munira
The book is a collection of poems with a message of love and exercises written for series of English classes. These poems are related to the life experiences of Munira.
Munira opened her window each day to welcome the rising sun .Goddess Sarasvati inspired her to dance, sing and learn. She had a deep friendship with the butterfly . She was, in fact, the butterfly enveloped in the flower. Her toys taught her meaningful lessons. Munira experienced triumph and defeat while flying kite but learnt to smile. Butterfly fluttered around as if seeking something desperately from the depth of the heart. It enclosed in the flower of the golden vase and finally lost her breath. That was the tragic end of the butterfly.
Today Munira is fifteen .Imraan has left for Saudi Arabia and mother is no more.
” Is the moon real, “she asks the same question but she sees a different light.
