About the Book

Usha Chandrasekharan is an economics graduate, dabbling in writing for the sheer joy of the written word. Is a poet, published in one poetry anthology called The Heart Only Whispers. Has also placed her verses in a couple of online poetry forums. Loves to talk, watch life, observe and analyse what is observed. Interested in embroidery. The predominant passion however has always been books, books and books. Loves to tell stories to children, read aloud or concocted ones. She has a small interest in Tarot Readings more as a light hearted venture than serious.

Usha writes tongue in cheek. She is a keen observer of life in passing. Analyzes human frailty and foibles. Her stories are a gentle pointer to man's pretenses of civility and probes the whys and wherefores of human action or inaction. A poet, she is also a feminist, strongly supportive of independent-thinking women.
