About the Author
V Ramakrishnan is retired Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, an affiliated self-financing Institution to Anna University and approved by All India Council of Technical Educations (AICTE), New Delhi. Prior to his teaching assignments he was in Industries for 19 years doing research activities in Energy field at Jyoti Ltd., Vadodara and Best and Crompton, Chennai. He has 20 years of teaching experience in the subjects of Heat Transfer, fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials and Finite Element Analysis. Having had sufficient exposure to the fields related to Finite Element Analysis, he has brought out his works and experience in the form of a book on Finite Element Analysis β Basics. The author has received best Techno Faculty Award from ICTACT academy in the year 2014. He is currently pursuing his research work under the guidance of Dr.K.Purushothaman at St.Peterβs University.
