In July 2010, eleven-year-old Anoush experienced the horrors of brain cancer. Over the next three years, Anoush vividly described in her diary the challenges of living in so much illness and, with her sheer willpower along with family support, her victory against the dreaded disease. This unexpurgated, unambiguous text provides a deeply moving and unforgettable portrait of Anoush along the way. Her experiences could well turn around the quality of life for the betterment and give hope to children with similar illness and their families who could well overcome the trauma.

About the Author

My name is Anoushka Vidudala. I have completed my tenth from Delhi Public School Bangalore South, and I’m presently pursuing humanities from Christ Junior College Bangalore. I don’t have a lot to say about myself, but I can at least say that my greatest strength is my willpower. Being afflicted with brain tumor at age of eleven years and having undergone the ordeal to fight against the same has helped me realize the colors of life vividly. My hobbies are to write stories; my passion, I’ve still not figured it out.
