About the Book
Reiki was there in the past and present and will be there in future. The world is controlled by natural laws and universal energy; we call it God, Allah, or Ishwar. In Japanese, “rei” means “God's wisdom” or “the Higher Power,” and “ki” is “life force energy.” In Russian, “reiki” means “bioplasmic energy.” In Sanskrit, “reiki” means “divine and infinite energy.” This is the primary power, and with this energy, the material world (i.e., matter) is created. It is not related or limited to any religion or caste. Reiki is advantageous for all living and nonliving matter. This basic energy is wholly responsible for the evolution of mankind and one’s spiritual progress. Reiki helps to keep the body and mind healthy. The six enemies—anger, greed, lust, fear, jealousy, and envy—are big roadblocks in the way of life’s progress, which can be eradicated with the help of reiki. By connecting the energy of our inner conscience with the universal energy, we can overcome diseases, low confidence levels, personality disorders, life’s dissatisfactions, fear and mental restlessness, etc., through reiki initiation and dedicated practice. Reiki changes one’s outlook toward life and makes one’s existence meaningful and complete in this widespread universe.
