About the Book

• Hoodu is both a storyteller and a hedgehog. Hoodu enjoys his nightly excursions in search of juicy bugs and insects which the Forest so generously provides for him. He sleeps by day and being nocturnal in his habits, he wanders off at night in search of food and any willing listeners to his stories. For, apart from being born with long ears, he also has a lively imagination and the power of expressing it. All creatures of the Forest would fall under the spell of his tales. But one day, he gets into trouble. Let’s discover what happens…

About the Author

Mira Hasin is a writer of children’s stories, a visual artist and a trained theater educator and practitioner. She brings to her work an innate philosophy of the interrelationship between all sentient creatures with their environments and the symbiotic nature of that relationship. Deeply influenced by nature, she strives to produce work that touches upon themes of beauty, interdependence, harmony and impermanence that govern all living things.
