About the Book
Finnian Bicycle continues his journey in this second installment of his biking adventures. In the first book, he shared how he travelled through twelve countries in Europe before making the decision to bike into the Middle East via Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman. While there were times he had to board a flight – usually because of a visa issue – he covered thousands of miles on his bicycle, sometimes hitching a ride to cover ground. In part two, he picks up where he left off, crossing from Turkey into Iran. From Tehran, he travelled south via Isfahan, Shiraz, Darab, and the southern point of Bandar Abbas, where he boarded onto a ferry to travel to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He ended up camping in Dubai for about twenty days while trying to get a visa to ride into China. Join the author as he celebrates his adventures traveling by bicycle, sometimes camping in the strangest of places, and making friends while discovering new terrain.
