Corporate risk management or " Risk Management" has become popular in recent years due to various corporate scandals, government investigations and disasters. Though some in the risk management industry refer to Enterprise Risk Management ( ERM) when discussing risk management, it is my opinion that this is really about the mitigation and minimization of legal risk. Such risk involves legal issues including class actions, product liability claims and lawsuits, government investigations, fines and shareholder actions to name a few. This book offers concrete examples of forms and contracts needed to mitigate,shift and prevent risk and addresses many of the areas that play a key role in instituting a proper Legal Risk Management ("LRM") Program. This book sets forth in a practicle way the contracts and forms and checklists that have been developed through my experience to manage and control corporate and legal risks faced by most companies today. It is a companion book to my first book on Legal Risk Management and should be used in conjunction with that book. .

About the Author
Bryan E. Hopkins is an international lawyer and professor of law in the Graduate School of Business, Sejong University, Seoul, Korea. He was general counsel of Samsung Electronics America, Inc., and assistant general counsel of Kumho Petrochemical. He managed litigation and counseled multinational corporations on legal risk and exposure.
