About the Author

Natalie Rachel Makulin was born in a small district called Penampang, in the outskirts of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Growing up with her cousins at her grandparent’s home gave her fond memories of childhood freedom. From daydreaming on a mango tree, making twig fishing rods, running through paddy field mud, and other village adventures, she found a love for nature. Now, an early childhood educator, Nat hopes to write more books that inspire children to dream and to believe.
