About the Book

On a cold Christmas Eve night, Santa Claus and his reindeer are on their yearly mission to deliver Christmas presents to children around the world. All is going well until disaster strikes - Rudolph falls ill and suddenly Christmas morning is put in jeopardy. Father Christmas needs to find a new guide to take over the reins of his sleigh - big shoes to fill indeed! With no time to lose, he finds himself in an animal shelter where he comes across a most unlikely hero in the form of Muffin, a timid little beagle with a heart of gold. Will Muffin be able to step up to the challenge or are millions of children going to be disappointed on Christmas morning?
