About the Book
This story teaches readers an important lesson in an entertaining way. Children and adults alike, often tend not to see our self-worth. Most of us have no problem seeing it in others, but we don’t recognize the qualities in us, that we value in others. This story shows how important it is for us to do this and to realize our roles in the world. Sometimes you need a day off, stepping back to see where your real place is with your own eyes. Always remember you are who you are for a reason. Even if that reason is not obvious to you.
About the Author
Sana Malika Hussain was born in Geneva, Switzerland on May 6th, 1985. Her family moved to USA in 1986 where she grew up and completed her education. In 2008, she graduated from the University of South Florida with a Degree of Bachelors in Bio Medical Sciences, after which she became an educator. This inspirited her to write stories for children hoping to make their learning more enjoyable. Message from the Author: I grew up in Central Florida, an amazingly fun place to live. My parents and teachers have always encouraged me to do the best of my ability and to never give up. Those are the qualities I would like to pass on to the next generation. Fortunately I have the opportunity to work with children every day, whether they are my own children or the students of my class. I try my best to have children think positively and creatively; these books are just my way of showing them that reading is fun.
