About the Book

This book is for an audience of young children ages ranging from two to five years old. The title “I See” is from a young child’s perspective. The topic relates to everyday basic concepts. In this book, the young child is trying to connect with his/her natural environment. Surrounded by the beauty of the natural environment, young children observe, recognize, enjoy, and learn, which cognitively contributes to them becoming effective communicators throughout their learning and development. This book will assist young children to develop a clearer understanding of what they mean when they speak. Young children know a lot more than they can verbalize. Basic concepts are a foundation in early learning, and it enhances young children’s social skills and interactions with parents and each other. Sharon Crick is a qualified registered Early Childhood Teacher in Queensland Australia and is currently the owner/teacher at Crick’s Family Daycare. She continues to follow her passion writing stories relating to children’s learning and development. Inspired to write “I See”, Sharon believes along with music, play and daily activities, reading interesting, fun and educational stories can assist young children develop basic day to day concepts.
