About the Author

Sonia Devi was born and raised in the quaint town of Segamat in Johor and moved to Kuala Lumpur in her teenage years. Her untethered fascination towards politics has led her to writing. Underlying such fascination is her passion for things of the heart,which is why you will find Sonia listening to timeless soul music and delving into romance novels in the wee hours of the morning. She is a true ‘Cancerian’ as per her zodiac sign, as she is family-oriented, empathetic and humble. Sonia aspires to grow as a writer alongside her growing audience, as she sets out to embrace human experiences of all kinds, capturing them into her works. Sonia is currently pursuing a law degree in the United Kingdom, in the endeavour of building depth for her sought-after career as an academic.
