Vision is the flight of fantasy. You need to dare to board that flight. Leave all your worries and nagging doubts on the run way itself. Let you only carry the baggage of free thoughts, ideas and wishes. Tighten your soul with enthusiasm and go like a dream. To succeed in your life, imagination is equally required as of knowledge. William Arthur Ward said that if you can imagine it, you can do it. Hardly, few people are having clarity on the purpose of their lives; majorities find difficulty in exploring the same. They act as lame duck in their own life, which is helpless to sail against the wind. The direction of their own life is dependent completely on the external factors. They keep moving in life, rather than moving their lives. Nobody has achieved anything in his life without first exploring the very purpose of his life. To explore that, we first need to have a vision; vision of reaching somewhere, vision of achieving some goals. In short, it is the flight of fancy. Let your thoughts flow freely; let it get settle for something which makes you feel proud, happy and satisfied. Our life is not all beer and skittles; it has a definite purpose to deal. What would be life without goals? Certainly, directionless! When, we don’t have a direction in our life, chances of devil attacks like depression, frustration etc will be high. You must know where you are heading and WHY. Goals and Plans are like road maps; they won’t guarantee you a smooth journey but certainly gives you the directions. By setting goals, you define the purpose to your life. To set a goal, you need to have a Skill and Will. Skill of setting SMART goals, which we all know is a goal, which should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and of time bound and Will to achieve that goal. In order to bag it, you might have to work your finger to the bone. Once you are booked with your aim, don’t look it with beady eye. Keep your aim on the goal and focus on the process. Most of the time, most of the people, focus on the goal and not on the process. They keep thinking about the result. You do not have to think about the output, not even once. When you know what is behind setting this goal (WHY?), it is enough and then pour every drop of your energy in the process to achieve it (HOW?). No matter, how far your destiny is but with the best will in the world, you can reach there. You have two options; choose to survive or choose to succeed. If you let your boat sail directionless, you choose to survive and if you take a control of your boat, you choose to succeed. It is well said that where focus goes, energy flows. When you know what you want and why, your energy takes the charge and demonstrates how to achieve it. Life works in strange ways. If you are focused and energized, the stranger will not be able to divert your attention. What are these strangers? These are frustration, failures, fear, criticism etc.
