About the Book
This book is written exclusively for the smalll kids of the age group of 8 to 14. This is a reference book for those small kids who, probably, have not understood the demonstration and explanation by his or her coach on a particular day. The kid will then open this manual and by seeing the pictures and the short explanation which accompanies the photos in the form of labeling will give the correct insights to the player and that player will go to the coach and easily correct himself.

ACHEMANT BHIKOO PAI ANGLE CRICKET ACHIEVEMENTS AS ON 27.08.14 JUNIOR • Represented Nasik District (Junior) for Cooch-behar Trophy in 1973-74 at Ahmednagar and 1974-75 at Nasik. • Represented Nasik District Seniors for Jasdanvalla Trophy in 1977-78 at Solapur and 1978-79 at Jalgaon. • Represented North Maharashtra against Pune in 1978-79 at Pune. • Represented Goa in C.K.Nayudu (under 22) in the year 1979-80 in Guindy (Madras) and 1981-81 in Bangalore. • Highest wicket taker in the tournament in 1979-80. SENIOR • Represented Goa Ranji Team in 33 matches, scored 1087 runs as lower middle order batsman and captured 58 wickets as an off spinner. • Vice Captain of Goa Ranji Team for three years 1988-89,90-91,91-92 the last year under Roger Binny. • Played consecutive 33 matches for Goa from 1984-85 to 1991-92, was never dropped for lack of performance or due to injury or fitness. • First Goan bowler to capture 50 wickets. • First Goan cricketer to have completed the double of 50 wickets and 1000 runs. • Highest wicket taker for Goa at retirement in 1992. • Captain of Goa Team for Ranji one-day( Subbaiah Pillay) in 1990-91. • Captain of Goa team for All-India Arlem Trophy tournament in 1989-90 and 1990-91. The only match a Goa Team has won was under my captaincy. • CLUB CRICKET – Represented Panjim Gymkhana(1979), Salgaocar (1980), Vasco Xl(1981-82), Margao Cricket Club(1983-99), Benaulim Youth Cricket Club(2000 till date). • Toured Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Bangkok on a 25 day Tour with the Cricket Club of Hyderabad in 1990. • Toured and played in England in 1998 with the Margao Cricket Academy. • Toured Sri Lanka with the SAG under-17 team, which won all the eight matches in 2007. AFTER RETIREMENT • Played the Goa Premier league (Goa’s top league) consecutively for the last 29 years. • Completed Certificate course in Cricket coaching in Gandhinagar (Gujarat) under Sports Authority of India in 1991 standing 1st with A grade. • Completed Level ‘A’ BCCI Coaching Course in 2009. • Completed Level ‘A’ Refresher Coaching Course at Vizag in 2011 standing first with A grade. • Coaching Students for the Sports Authority of Goa since 1991. • Coaching Students for the Margao Cricket Academy. • Conducted 15 – day Refresher course for SAG coaches in 2010 as a faculty. • Conducted 10 day Refresher course for coaches for Nashik District Cricket Association in 2012 and 2013. • Columnist for Gomantak Times – Weekender – Sunday newspaper, Navhind Times- Panorama and Goa Doot. • Writer in Marathi for Gomantak, Tarun Bharat and Goa Doot. • Nominated as Member of State Senior Selection Committee (Ranji Trophy) for years 1992-94. • Nominated as Chairman of State Senior Selection Committee in the year 1999-2000. • Nominated as selector to select the South Zone Duleep Trophy and Deodhar Trophy teams ion 2001. • Nominated as a member of the Junior Selection Committee 2007-08. the selected team were the under – 14 runners up. • Nominated as a Match Referee by BCCI for four years year 2008- to 2012. • Nominated as a Match Referee at Eden Gardens in 2001 for the match between Bengal and Tripura. • Curator of the Turf pitch at Margao Cricket Club from 1992-99. • Wrote and published my own book ’Learn to play cricket with Hemant Angle’. Sold two editions in six months. • Curator of the Turf pitch at Govt Multipurpose High School and Madanant Cricket Club at Savoi Verem. • Appointed Manager of South Zone Deodhar Trophy team to Kanpur and Lucknow under the Captaincy of Robin Singh. South Zone and Central Zone ended the Final Match in a Tie, sharing the trophy. ORGANISATION • Organised a 22 day-tour of England mostly under 17 boys led by Test player Praveen Amre for the Margao Cricket Academy. Practised at Lords and were invited to an official reception at the Indian High Commission in London. Played an official match against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). • Organised several exposure tours for students under 14/16 in Belgau
