Once upon a time, long, long ago, there lived a very powerful and wicked king. His name was Nimrod. One night, King Nimrod had a dream. In his dream he saw a star rise from the western horizon. The bright light of the star lit up the earth. His wise men explained the dream. “God’s friend is going to be born very soon in the city of Ur.” King Nimrod became very frightened. “I will not allow this baby to be born!” he exclaimed. So he plotted and planned to prevent the birth of God’s friend. Any male child born in the city of Ur was snatched by the soldiers and killed immediately. The rivers of Ur turned red with the blood of these innocent babies. However, Almighty God is the best of Planners……
