‘Daydreaming the Idyll’, the first collection of poems by Ryan Victor is a book about love, despair, imagery and chaos. The poet uses a wide range of subjects to express his feelings and convey his perspective across to the reader. The tone and lyric of his poems varies considerably as they have been written over a span of almost ten years and incorporate an array of writing styles. The poet uses imagery from nature widely and his writings on despair come from deep personal strata.

About the Author

Ryan Victor is a poet from Delhi, India and has been writing poetry since his school days, beginning his foray into the world of the art as a part of a creative writing group. He claims to be a non-conformist and is a bohemian at heart. In his own words, he has been gifted with fecund visions of the sublime ever since he was a kid and has found himself a means of expressing them through his poetry. He presently lives with his mother and younger brother in humble dwellings in a small town in Delhi, having lost his father and youngest brother a few years ago. His first collection of poetry has poems that he has written and accumulated over a period of almost ten years and involves a wide array of subjects.
