About the Author

Devaki Purohit, age 16, completed her schooling from St. Josephs High School, Pune, India. She is presently studying in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune, India. Devaki had shown a flair for writing since the early age of 8. After writing short stories, poems, skits, etc. for some time, she then went on to write this debut novel at the age of 14. Her articles on various subjects appear every week in the reputed English newspaper, ‘Sakal Times’. She is also an ardent music, animal and Nature lover, and is presently learning to play the piano. Her other hobbies include cooking, reading, and composing music.
