Tantalus

Decency proves a gentle man. Courage proves a lover, but vision proves an artist. There was no freedom, no escapement for him from it. He had to bear the burden beyond tomorrow. Suddenly the leg turned into a proboscis; proboscis of love. He was under its clutch. He found no way to get out of this clutch. When the third eye was pushed back vehemently from the Great Hole, Tantalus was caught under hallucination. He found Aqua stand in the rill like a swan. Her face wore a smile, but it seemed to him that she had intended to mock at him. Take away my life if you can. This mortal body is of no use to me. I have other ways to survive. Do not try to challenge me there. If you try to do so, you will have to kiss the dust. Beware! Beware! I am free, as free as the wind, as free as the falls, as free as the clouds, as free as the Third Eye. I am free to move wherever I wish though the limbs hinder, there is still hope for me. There are so many chains in the world that the mortals find it difficult to find a chain-free land. The more a man feels himself free, the more he puts himself into chains. A serious question strikes me now. Am I free at all?
