Life Is Unpredictable

From my experience, I am of the opinion that it is really difficult to be the second child in the family about whom no one cares. From one side my little brother is makes me frustrated with his cute accent and innocent face, whereas from the other side, my elder brother David annoys me with his pranks and tricks. The real problem is my parents and relatives compare me with my elder brother or younger brother at similar age, and unfortunately most of the times, I used to be at the receiving end in these comparisons. It may be due to the fact that my parents used to concentrate on my elder brother as he was the first child in the family and my younger brother’s activities being latest, also fresh in their memories. Let me tell you another thing that I was always getting dresses, toys or books as hands down things. Mom used to keep the things purchased for David after he used them and became short. I was forced to use them even if they were not to my liking. By the time Dimpy’s turn came, these things have all became shabby and he was getting fresh items again. On Sundays, during our visits to church my little brother Dimpy could bring whatever he wants. While when I was his age I was not that privileged.
