The Inevitable Separation

Arjuna Said, “O Krishna, I am amazed by your glory which is endless and manifested in infinite forms. I am keen to see you with all your different Vibhutis (attributes and glories) as the supreme lord and creator of this universe”. Krishna replied, “I would endow you the divine vision (Divya-dristi) so that you can see my Magnificent Cosmic form (the Vishwarupa), containing the entire universe, billions of galaxies each holding billions of stars, planets, oceans, Gods and Goddess, sages and saints, humans and animals and other life forms, mountains and rivers, demons and deities in a small part of my body. You can see everything that has happened in the past or is happening now or would happen in the future, all contained in me. You can see my heavenly splendor, heavenly fragrance and heavenly radiance that even thousands of Suns cannot match”. And then within a fraction of a second all that said above was in front of Arjuna. The Supreme God was before him wearing an infinite number of faces and countless weapons which displayed his unending powers. Arjuna was amazed, frightened and speechless. He was trembling in a state of ecstasy. He gathered all his courage and spoke the following words:
