About the Book

Having traversed life through all the agony and the ecstasy for over five decades, this book is enriched by the fascinating experiences of all those years in the life of Rajendra Khandelwal. Life taught him great lessons; some bitter, some joyous. And through all of them he gained deep insights into life and learnt to celebrate life. It was necessary to share those insights with the world around him so that anyone who cared to listen to his voice would gain a treasury of truths and be insipred to also learn how to celebrate life in its many splendoured hues.

About the Author

Rajendra Khandelwal, BCom, MBA, and currently pursuing his PhD in social engineering, describes himself as “an ordinary human being with extraordinary feelings for humanity”. He is a true social being and a successful entrepreneur, sitting at the head of one of the most popular pharmacy chains in the state of West Bengal (India), the Dhanwantary Group. He is a spirited motivator and an ardent spiritualist, attached to many social organisations like Rotary International and various United Nations Associations. He was born in a lower-middle class family, struggled to complete his studies with the help and support of a kindly neighbour and an NGO. A passionate social reformer, he has now launched and supports the Girl Child Education Programme, Sukanya, which is a project very close to his heart. Rajendra Khandelwal’s search for the true meaning of life has just started with this, his first attempt, Life is a Celebration. He lives in Kolkata, eastern India, with his wife and two sons.
