About the Author
Mrs Surabhi Banerjee is a mother of two very accomplished children—a son who is an investment banker in London and a daughter who is a practicing architect in India. Her husband is a mechanical engineer and is the backbone of her life. He has truly proved that behind every successful lady is a man who has a magnanimous heart. He is a person who has always motivated her to dream, follow her dream, and convert her dream into reality. In the thirty-eight years of their married life, everything that she has achieved is only because of his support and priceless counselling as often as she needed it. Mrs Banerjee wanted to teach ladies to speak in English so that they could forge ahead in life. He made it possible for her by gifting her books, helping her in her time management. Now over the past thirty-five years, she has her own Institute for Spoken English for men and women of any profession. Along with many other things she did, she started her workshops on thought management, listening and communication skills, creating confidence, and something very close to her heart, Parenting: A Lifetime Project. He was instrumental in making all this come true. Her son is her sounding board. He has always been a source of inspiration for her. No matter how complicated the issue might seem, he has a way of first listening and then giving a simple, logical solution. Her daughter is always a source of pride. Extremely talented and resourceful, she helped in actually getting the ideas executed. Without her guidance, this project would have never been completed. The author says, “I feel immensely grateful to God for blessing me with such a wonderful family. My family gave me the real insight to life, and that is how, I had the courage to pen down my thoughts in the form of this book.” Mrs Surabhi Banerjee, MSc (Botany), was awarded a UGC scholarship. She is also a Reiki master, a Silva mind control graduate, has undergone vipassana training, and is an accredited trainer and counsellor from the Dynamic Living Institute in UK.
