About the Author

Mehak is seventeen and a student in Grade 12 in Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram. She aspires to become a veterinary surgeon. A quiet person, she started writing poems since she was fifteen. For her, poetry is how she encapsulates her feelings in a few precise words to express the language of her heart. Every poem is a mine of incidents telling a story. She is inspired by the words of Michael Faudet, who said, “I write because you exist.”
