About the Book

Rohan’s reason for writing this book is to recite the experience of Vijay through an account of his journey after leaving his homeland and loved ones to come to work to a foreign land in quest of his dream—a real life scenario but written through the lens of a 10 year old—a unique proposition.

About the Author

Rohan is a lively ten-year old boy with a love for writing. This has evolved from his passion for reading. He was born in Jersey, Channel Islands. Rohan moved to Dubai when he was 2 years old and his formative years to date have been spent there. He lives with his parents. Rohan misses his sister, Piya terribly since she is at boarding school in the UK. When Rohan is not immersed in a book, he can often be found cycling or just hanging out. His joie de vivre is both infectious and a sight to behold. This is his first book and is a story of Vijay, a labourer in Dubai.
