Almost one hundred years ago, when the final three Ketone the wolf, the fox and the Phoenix, took battle against the Spirit Teller, a witch that received the Ketone Blade when she traded her unborn child for immortality. It is also said the boy holding the Nine-tailed fox within him was the Spirit Teller’s son. The legend goes that the boy with the fox killed her but then went mad after using the Ketone Blade for the fight. However, the girl he loved took away that madness and saved him. She was said to have hidden the spirit of the Six-tailed wolf within her. The Two-tailed Phoenix was said to have bonded with a young man with red hair. This boy fell in love with the Ketona of Light, the only Ketona who was not against the Ketone.
Jeff knew that the baby boy would not be suspected if he was dropped in front of an unsuspecting couple’s house in the middle of the cold, dead winter night. Jeff hid the katana away and set off with the baby. The baby did not wake up once, but Jeff knew that the Beast was in there, hidden away in a sword and in a boy. The baby would not develop the same beautiful mark that Jeff held on his left arm and hand. The baby would grow into a strong young man, unknowing of what he truly was.
Lutalo’s parents thought he would have suitor’s but it turns out not many girls are into troublemakers. Lutalo was tall, with thick messy hair which he never bothered to comb. His eyes were deep violet, a strange colour. He had rather pointed ears and a cheeky smile complete with a pair of fangs (it surprised Lutalo’s parent’s when he started teething). That day he was wearing a pair of jeans, a T-shirt and a hooded jumper and plain sneakers. Lutalo had faint muscle definition around his arms and chest. He was lean and didn’t have any abbs at all. Other than Lutalo’s tail, which was black, with a large mound of fur on the end and made a good mosquito swapper, nothing else was different about him……
Over the years his destiny unfolded… as Lutalo looked to his left and noticed something… off. A figure was hiding inside a window, holding a sort of bow and arrow. At first, Lutalo thought it was a sort of target practice, but then he saw that the arrow was aimed towards the Princess.
He didn’t even think, he just reacted.
Lutalo grabbed a small rock and threw it just as the arrow went off. The rock flew towards the arrow and it clanged against the arrow, knocking it off course. It fell to the ground and the Princess screamed. People were screaming too. Lutalo’s eyes were wide with shock.
“Is anyone hurt?” Lutalo heard a soldier shout. Everyone shook their heads. Lutalo snapped his head to the window, but the figure was gone. He’d seen enough for one day. He set off towards a small park area, where sunflowers and park equipment were kept. He sat down on the swing and went away with his own thoughts.
I just saved the Princess’ life. And no one even knows. Oh, man, what just happened?
This would not be the only time Lutalo was called to defend the Princess.
The King was very tall with sharp hazel eyes and dark black hair. His face was withering, with lines and age running through them. He wore the Robes of Royalty and two soldiers followed behind him. Reece had been right; they wore black-on-black. Their backs were adorned with shining silver katana’s. The King held one too, but this one seemed to glow with a sickly purple. He lifted it and tapped it onto Lutalo’s shoulders.
“I hereby, dub thee: Lutalo Savior, Guardian Warrior of Princess Cynthia, Princess of the Centre City and the Six Countries. You will protect Princess Cynthia with your life and if your life is lost you shall be remembered as a brave soldier.”
Lutalo looked up and saw part of Princess Cynthia’s face. Her lips were soft red, most likely makeup. He didn’t see her eyes though……..
