About the Book

It’s my story. One that I wrote because I took a year off to write something and this is the result. On a break from a high pressure job as a financial analyst in an asset securities team in London to the heat of Sydney’s Macquarie Street. Writing this now, I can barely remember what I started with. I know it wasn’t much. I owned a laptop, a camera and an assortment of backpacker’s paraphernalia. And only once in my life, before then, had I experienced something so mystical it made me stop and question its realness. The journey was richer than words can describe but the message is there.. we all find our place when we go looking for shelter.
