Love Glove This short novel explores love from 2 perspectives- a) Relationships and Personal Bonding (Lovers, Brother-Sister, Boss-Colleague) and b) Love for one's own career. It also shows that both perspectives coincide at some juncture and people then need to prioritize. The 2 themes are i) Sustainability and Conservation Genetics (via Architecture, Civil Engineering and Herpetology) and ii) Medicine. The main characters are: Mark-Architect and Civil Engineer, an MIT prodigy, he spearheads Real Estate Sustainability efforts and believes in local engagement at every project. He is an expert at multiple languages and makes people comfortable around him. An orphan by birth, he considers love to be a luxury until he is swept away by Sarah and he gets protective about his pseudo sister Sheena. Sarah-A third generation doctor, she specializes in Internal Medicine and Nutrition and travels the world as part of UN WHO team just like her mother did. She lost her father early but carried on his medical legacy and kept alive his ethical standards. She looks a soft person but is more than capable of standing up for her own and brushing aside obstacles. She is also dedicated in love. This mixture of personalities in her made her irresistible to Mark. Her career seems settled and she is risk averse until she meets Mark, who changes her perspective and inspires her to follow her heart. Sheena-An orphaned Conservation Geneticist and Herpetology Expert, she follows her parents' legacy of Natural Science and Environmental Conservation (whose lives were lost in a rare Jellyfish Attack), ignoring her orthodox family background and in this she is actively encouraged financially and emotionally by her arch orthodox three elder brother and her liberal grandfather and grandmother. Her idol is an Italian Herpetology Conservation expert. Mark's arrival gave a big push to her Science career and gave her an outlet to confidently showcase her talents.
