Bakpo?

About the Book

Bakpo? (which simply means “why” in the dialect Kelantaneese) is about a desire for self-expression of a teenage girl’s observations due to the high rate of moral decadence among youths nowadays. This is inspired by the reading of a zine-like book, which is Chonteng, the simple clause. Like the Chonteng, Bakpo? is expressing awareness with poems, dialect, and multilingualism.
