Most kids learn the 99 Names of Allah through a nasheed (chants). This alone does not help them to get to know the attributes enough to impact on one’s own fear and hope. To live by the Names of Allah means to have one’s decision making guided by Allah’s attributes, and this requires a lot more than chants.

The book contains 60 crossword puzzles. Several studies have shown that crossword puzzles are an effective self-learning tool and are linked with multiple benefits such as critical reasoning skills, understanding-learning-recall-retention of concepts, expansion of vocabulary and mind stimulation. It also helps learners to memorize the vocabulary faster. The book provides a 12 week schedule in which the kids can memorize the 99 Names of Allah and their meanings. This is only a step towards learning the deeper meanings of the attributes.
