About the Book
This book is an extension of the author’s one topic of PhD research i.e. motivation theories and its application to the teaching profession. It can give readers dual benefit of theoretical knowledge of motivation and existing theories of motivation in detail. This is an attempt to put all the theories in one book. Plus an analysis of these theories has also been made relating to its application to the teaching profession in colleges in India. The comments are given based on the study of elaborate literature review of various articles and books written by eminent educationists on the state of college education. At the end of book the author has suggested her own theory in order to motivate teachers.
About the Author
Dr.Amarja Satish Nargunde is working as Associate Professor with the department Management Studies in Bharati Vidyapeeth University, IMRDA, Sangli. She has got eight years of teaching experience in the field of Organizational Behaviour. Her academic qualification is M.Com, M.B.A., M.J.(Master of Journalism). She received PhD from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Dr.Nargunde was also selected for Group Study Exchange Program by Rotary International to USA, Kansas. Dr.Nargunde has also developed her own training program for “Soft Skills Development”. Dr.Nargunde also writes for newspapers. An article featuring Dr.Nargunde’s PhD work was also published in Times of India in April 2013. Dr.Nargunde lives in Sangli, in the state of Maharashtra in India.
