About the Book
From a Chef, to a Painter, and to the Principal and Physical Education Teacher, Mole Books shares three beautifully illustrated short stories about Mole and his interaction with some important community helpers who young children may then be able to identify independently. Chef Joe allows Mole to help him create special foods to celebrate Mole’s fourth birthday. They make pizza, cheese sandwiches, French fries, and a yummy chocolate cake decorated with colorful gem candy. Painter Jim lets Mole work with him in painting the shed; together they design a colorful masterpiece and in the process learn about primary and secondary colors . In the third story, the school principal and physical education teacher while imparting valuable life’s lessons sponsor a day at the track where Mole gets to show his running prowess. This picture book for children answers questions little ones may have about the world around them. With colorful illustrations, it offers them insight into a variety of people around us who play important roles in our daily lives.
