From a gardener, to a doctor, and a plumber, Mole Books: Mole Wants to be a Firefighter, Mole the Gardener, Mole Visits the Doctor, and The Plumber Visits Mole House shares four short stories about Mole and his interaction with some important community helpers. In the first story, Mole dreams of being a brave firefighter who can save the day; he wants to be a community helper. The second story tells how Mole loves to work in the family’s vegetable garden, and how he’s especially happy when Gardener Gina comes to help. When Mole’s cousin Beaver hurts his leg, Mole meets Dr. Phillips, the Mole Town pediatrician. In the fourth and final story, the family calls Plumber Parker when Mole discovers a leak in the garden faucet. The third in a series, this picture book for children answers questions little ones may have about the world around them. With colorful illustrations, it offers insight into a variety of people who play important roles in life.
About the Author
Armaan J. Sarna, known at school as the “Original Mole,” is a ten-year-old boy from New Delhi, India. He envisioned, conceptualized, and created Mole as his protagonist for children’s story books he authored to make learning fun for young readers.
