About the Book
This book dwells on the clash of culture and traditions among the people. It also focus on acceptance and forgiveness. Sabah, North Borneo, also known as Land Below the Wind, is the epitome of ethnic and national unity. Intermarriages are very common. However, there are people still seeped in culture and traditions. That, at times, makes it difficult for them to accept others from outside their ethnic group. These stories are folklores of the people; the tales may vary from one district to another. While telling the story, the author hopes to accord readers a glimpse of the people’s way of life.
About the Author
Kathirina Susanna Tati was born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on the 30th August 1958. She is the second of ten siblings. She has written five novels, two collections of short stories, three children story books, one collection of poems and have organized 4 anthologies of short stories and two anthologies of poems. In addition of that, Kathirina also writes scripts for radio drama and often times include songs from the kadazandusun ethnic.
